How CiemnaSzyba works

Fitting, visibility and material — everything worth knowing before you order.

Montaż

Jak to działa — trzy kroki, ~30 sekund na szybę

Panel nie klei się do szyby na całej powierzchni. Wsuwa się go za uszczelkę i dociska cienkie, przezroczyste paski taśmy 3M. Trzyma pewnie — a schodzi w kilka sekund.

Sliding a tint panel behind the window seal

STEP 1

Slide the panel behind the seal

Lower the window and slide the panel behind the rubber seal. It is cut for your model, so it goes exactly where it should.

Applying clear 3M tape strips along the edge of the panel

STEP 2

Stick on the 3M tape strips

Stick the thin, clear strips along the edge of the panel. They hold firmly and stay invisible once fitted.

Pressing down the top edge of a fitted panel

STEP 3

Press down the top edge

Press the panel against the top edge of the window and raise it. The whole thing takes well under a minute.

Honestly

What is visibility really like?

From outside the window looks almost black — it reflects light, and behind it the interior is dark. From inside you look out at a bright scene and the picture stays readable: like through dark sunglasses, not through a wall.

In daylight 20% and 30% give comfortable visibility. At night every shade takes away some light — which is why the darkest 5% works above all in the rear of the car. We do not pretend that tinting has no effect on visibility — you pick the level so that visibility stays good and the car looks even better.

Front side windows most often chosen: 30%
Rear side windows 5–20%
Rear windscreen 5–20% (the side mirrors provide the view behind)

Material

Polycarbonate, not ordinary film

We make our panels from polycarbonate — the same material used for headlight lenses and bulletproof glass. It withstands −40°C to +115°C. Cheaper PET films soften at 70–80°C, the range a hot car interior reaches in summer. That is why our panel does not ripple and does not crack.

PC

Polycarbonate

A rigid panel, not film glued across the whole surface — no bubbles.

500 µm

Thickness 0.5 mm

Scratch-resistant coating on both sides.

99%

UV protection

Cuts down the UV radiation coming through the window.

−40 / +115°C

Thermal resistance

In continuous use — it takes a summer-hot car interior in its stride.
